弟妹を訪ね、免許書き換えも含めて、ロサンゼルスと中西部間を空陸で旅したカミサンからの画像です。帰路の陸の旅は豪華で安価とのこと。ぼくは未だに「キシャ」という単語を使う癖があり、笑顔になってしまうけれども、いつかこのキシャの旅（食堂車を含む）をと思うようになってしまった。(^_^)　

キシャで思い出すのが、デンバー発の「汽車」で起こる男女のほろ苦い再会を描いたオー・ヘンリーの短編Hearts and Hands（1902）。ヒッチコック監督のStrangers on a Train（1953 )はディーゼル機関車の見知らぬ乗客二人を巡るスリラー。ボブ・ディランの”Slow Train”（1979）、よく聞いたな。再訪するに、いつもながら大事なことを歌っていたのだな。カーブをゆっくり曲がってやって来るキシャの意味を改めて噛みしめれば歯こぼれが。
